Forward Levi Casboult ha signed a one-year contract extension with the Blues.

The often maligned forward played 20 games in 2016, kicking 18 goals.

Casboult said is thankful to the club for offering him a new deal.

“I’m grateful to the Club for giving me the opportunity to go around for another year,” Casboult said.

“As a team, we know we need to continue to evolve as a developing side, but collectively, I think we showed some exciting signs this year.

“I’ve enjoyed working closely with Brendon Bolton and particularly forwards coach Shane Watson on the areas of my game that need improving, and will continue to work really hard this upcoming pre-season.”

Casboult, 26, has played 72 games for the club since being selected with pick No.44 in the 2010 rookie draft.
