Brisbane great Jonathan Brown says Fremantle should offer Jesse Hogan a mammoth 10-year deal to leave the Demons.

Speaking on Fox Footy's On the Couch last night, Brown said the Dockers should throw the kitchen sink at Hogan when his contract expires to lure the West Australian back home.

“The salary cap is going to go up as part of the next TV rights deal. If I was Ross Lyon from Fremantle I’d be going to Jesse Hogan, a WA boy, and say $15 mil for 10 years,” Brown said.

“This bloke is a once-in-20-years player, along with (Gold Coast’s) Tom Lynch.

“It’s probably going to take a side, have they got the confidence, have they got the strength to offer Jesse Hogan $15 million over 10 years?

“I think that’s what it’ll take and that is not ridiculous. We’ve seen Lance Franklin, we’ve seen Gary Ablett with massive contracts.”

Hogan, at just 21 years of age, is already star of the competition, booting 61 goals in 27 matches for the Dees.

He kicked 44 goals in 20 matches last year, leading the club's goal kicking in his debut season and finishing third in the league for contested marks.
