AFL release Round 23 fixture

The AFL has finalised the Round 23 floating fixture.

The league has opted to stick with the traditional fixture of one Friday night game, five Saturday games and three games on Sunday.

Friday August 26

Adelaide Crows v West Coast at Adelaide Oval, 7.40pm

Saturday August 27

Geelong Cats v Melbourne at Simonds Stadium, 1.45pm

Essendon v Carlton at the MCG, 2.10pm

Sydney Swans v Richmond at the SCG, 4.35pm

North Melbourne v GWS Giants at Etihad Stadium, 7.25pm

Gold Coast Suns v Port Adelaide at Metricon Stadium, 7.25pm

Sunday August 28

St Kilda v Brisbane Lions at Etihad Stadium, 1.10pm

Fremantle v Western Bulldogs at Domain Stadium, 2.40pm

Hawthorn v Collingwood at the MCG, 3.20pm

    • Because the AFL are communist. They don’t want the top 4 having an advantage by having the week off after winning the qualifying final. They just want a team outside the top 4 to win it. Coz you know, we can’t have a team who did the hard work finishing top 4 have any sort of advantage! It’s bullshit!
